Jenner was “thrilled” to re-hire the unethical Andrew Weissmann after his time engaging in partisan prosecution as part of Robert Mueller’s entirely unjustified investigation. Executive order “Addressing Risks from Jenner and Block,” as quoted by NTD / The Epoch Times, March 25, 2025

On March 25, 2025, President Trump signed an executive order directed at Jenner & Block LLP. NTD (from The Epoch Times) and The Epoch Times reported the same day that the order calls for revocation of security clearances held by members of the firm and termination of government contracts. White House staff secretary Will Scharf, as quoted there, said the firm had “participated in the weaponization of the legal system against American principles and values,” and that the firm’s association with Weissmann was one reason the order issued. The Washington Times ran a same-day piece on the order targeting the firm that hired the top Mueller deputy.

The order, as quoted by NTD and Epoch Times under the title “Addressing Risks from Jenner and Block,” states: “Jenner was ‘thrilled’ to re-hire the unethical Andrew Weissmann after his time engaging in partisan prosecution as part of Robert Mueller’s entirely unjustified investigation.” It continues, in those write-ups: “The numerous reports of Weissman’s dishonesty, including pursuit of nonexistent crimes, bribery to foreign nationals, and overt demand that the Federal Government pursue a political agenda against me, is a concerning indictment of Jenner’s values and priorities.” The order’s spelling “Weissman” in the second sentence is the source’s. The “bribery to foreign nationals” clause is the order’s accusation, not a criminal judgment on this page.

A Jenner & Block spokesperson told Epoch Times the firm had “a long history representing clients, paid and pro bono, in their most difficult matters since 1914,” that it had been named in an order “similar to one which has already been declared unconstitutional by a federal court,” and that it would “pursue all appropriate remedies.” That is the firm’s response. Later lawsuit follow-ups about multiple firms are not dumped here. Odebrecht/Brookfield letters are a separate post.

Documented An executive order is a presidential act. It is not a conviction. This page does not invent extra Trump quotes beyond the order text those outlets printed.
